Safety is a hallmark of the children's programs. Every OneWay Kids volunteer leader is screened, passes a background check, and receives training from the church staff. Hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience, and parents receive matching security tags at check-in. If the staff ever need to reach a parent during a service, they can text the parent or display the child's last name and identification code on the auditorium screen.
Kids check-in opens 15 minutes before each service, and first-time guests receive a special sticker that signals the team to help the child feel at home. Parents who would like to volunteer in their child's classroom can sign up through the church's Serve form.

The ministry's mission is to celebrate the total recovery of life for individuals and families recovering from life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Its vision is to see broken lives overcome the chains of the past through faith-based education and group meetings.
GriefShare is a support ministry for those grieving the loss of someone close to them. The church points visitors to the national GriefShare program, where they can register for the local group and walk through a journey from mourning to joy.
Reflecting His Heart Ministries is the church's care outreach to its own members. The purpose is to help those carrying heavy burdens through texts, cards, phone calls, meals, visits, or small gifts. The ministry is built on the conviction that church family should never feel alone in their suffering.
Food Pantry, CERT, and Disaster Relief
Outreach is one of the five core values of Family Worship Center, and the church's community impact is felt through several channels.
The Food Pantry serves hundreds of meals to those in need in the New Caney area. Volunteers can sign up to help, and those needing assistance are invited to come by and be served.
The church also maintains its own Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), which educates members about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, including fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. CERT members are encouraged to support emergency response agencies and take an active role in emergency preparedness projects in the community. The team is connected to the Global Missions Department of the Pentecostal Church of God, which focuses on meeting the needs of a nation when fellow Americans suffer due to circumstances beyond their control.
